Disgraceful defensively today and it boils down to weak defending in the middle and not closing down on the outside. Borges poor today, Dijksteel pretty good, but the lack of help with overlapping wingers from Doak and McGree was just criminal. Edmundson is nowhere near good enough, same goes for Hackney and Howson. Our fans like to wax lyrical about how good the squad is when it's really not that special barring a few players that are really worth their weight in gold (Latte and Morris). Bring back Darragh Lenihan too!

I’ll still say this, if Carrick doesn’t get top 6 he has to go. The amount of money we charge at our home games, we should be putting chances away and winning more games, cause it will help reflect value. And the club and fanbase bang on about promotion, and this team should be at that level to be top 6, spending a good amount in the summer. However, a leaky defence conceding silly goals won’t help at all. Carricks in game management is very poor, nearly all the time, the subs are far too late, 75 minutes was the first sub, when it should had at least been 60 at 1-1. The defence is everywhere, yes we can score goals but the manner we conceed is a joke. If we somehow manage to get promoted, that defence needs a massive rebuild or we will be like Southampton.
