Ive seen a centrifugal blower like this driven by a supercharged chevy 350 as a track dryer. its all mounted on a trailer and pulled around the track after rainstorms on track day.

Used to maintain blowers like this ond at Humane Mfg in Wisconsin. It took shreded and grandulated runber and lobbed it into pipes that led to large silos. Changing the pipe elbows in the winter 200 feet up with ice and snow on the roof and ladders was all kinds of fun 😅😮
