State Laws Restricting Vaccine Mandates

In the spring and summer of 2021, several states across the United States passed laws restricting COVID-19 vaccination mandates. Some states prohibit state and local governments from mandating vaccines as a condition of employment or to deny access to services. Others, like Florida, Alabama, and Arkansas, forbid businesses from requiring customers be vaccinated or that they show proof of vaccination. Montana has one of the most restrictive laws, prohibiting employers from requiring vaccinations of their employees. Professor Dorit Reiss of UC Hastings Law discusses the states’ varying prohibitions and some legal challenges already making their way through the courts.

Dorit Reiss is a professor of law and the James Edgar Hervey '50 Chair of Litigation at UC Hastings College of the Law. Her research focuses on legal and policy issues related to vaccines.

I was told I was going to be terminated if I didn't take the vaccine shot. I work for a medical company. Now I'm not against any vaccines but I am against mandates. We should have the choice . We live in a country where families come to have freedom and rights

It showed two people a guy and a lady walking in the rain. The lady had an umbrella and the guy didn't. The meme said "If you don't use yours, then mine won't work."

That is very relevant. It shows how ridiculous this whole engineered crisis is.

the Geneva convention had a lot of people that used the defense, "I was just doing my job". FYI they were shot anyway!

However it is framed, the fact is that there are attempts to limit your access to places of public accommodation based on your personal medical history. This goes against ADA directly and any place of public accommodation has to reasonably allow for people of varying health statuses access. The “private businesses can make their own rules” is a cop out that is untrue.

If the vaccine was to be 100% effective in the prevention of infections, hospitalizations, and deaths among fully vaccinated individuals a mandate wouldn’t be needed. If these vaccines were to be safe (without causing so many acute and chronic side effects) a mandate wouldn’t be needed.
