His team; Caen were newly promoted from Ligue 2 and they came into Stade Vélodrome losing 2-0 with 20 mins left. They then rallied back to win 2-3! He helped Caen stay in Ligue 1, finishing 13th place. Leicester City signed him that summer for €9M and well, the rest is history!

I don't know how Kante played at 18 or 19 but how on earth is it possible that this guy was so many years unkown until his mid twenties? I see highly gifted abilities at his style of play I have never ever seen from another player. He's literally one of the most unique players ever, incomparable. As a scout I would have immediately contacted his agent for a deal if I would have spot a young talent who plays like this, honestly.

Kante and pogba are 2 of the best midfielders in the world and won a World Cup together, both come from very similar backgrounds, both born in Paris to African immigrants but their route to the top has been so different. Pogba was always a wonderkid and is so self confident we're kante was never highly thought of and is shy and reserved, 5 years ago Pogba was the 'next great midfielder' where as Kante was a nobody who worked his way to the top🙌🙌🙌

As a chelsea fans im really glad my club to have him, he's hardworker, giving 100% performance in every match, and unselfish, one of my favorite players list at chelsea and his status above hazard in my eyes :)
