Not only inventory and training cost, more important is Typhoon is developed and governed by different countries and that may create issues in the future depending on the political inclination each member country. Rafale on the other hand is governed by France only.

But as of latest news about marine Rafael costing around 50000 Cr, which is twice the cost of Rafael we bought earlier that included training and maintenance... So if Dassault is not ready to reduce its price... We don't need to waste our time with them and move ahead with typhoon

Sortie toh pichle air chief ne mig 35 ki bhi ki thii. I don't think and foreign made jet acquisition will be smooth now. So most probably 4.5 gen requirements will be met through mk1a and mk2

Considering the shortage of Fighter Aircrafts, the delivery time line is more important than logistical cost. Dussault Aviation is already coating very high prices in the case of the Naval version of Rafel. In the case of Typhoon, the manufacturer company has already offered 20% discount on quoted price.

It will be a good option if india acquire euro fighter typhoon in significant number excluding mrfa program on 3 conditions
1) complete manufacturing of euro fighter typhoon in india with some negotiation on ip rights favourable to indian interest.
2)complete tot of ej 200 jet engine both production technology and technology know why.
3)collaborative research of adaptive cycle engine and CMC research (which will give a kick start for amca mk2 engine program and also it will put pressure on Safran to work with drdo).

Most important factor is geopolitical.

Euro fighter is air superiority aircraft.
However Rafale is omnirole which means while aircraft in air it can change air to air and air to ground operations easily during same sortie.
However in case of Eurofighter you need to land aircraft forst and then need to change mode.
In war scenario this is game changer.
Since its omnirole its airframe designed in such way it can perform both roles. However Eurofighter is moreover functions more in airsuperiority and interception.
