Nobody can bring their voice down several octaves. In fact, when you spoke in your news reader voice, you were in exactly the same octave - you just changed the tone of your voice, which is great, by the way.

i know this is a old short, but its nice to know that this is pretty similar/common between news reporters. it also reminds of clancy burke who is another former news reporter.

As a journalist, I’ve been struggling to maintain this voice. I know how to get this voice but it doesn’t stay for long. How do I improve? Also, my voice is always better in voice overs than on screen!
