Syrtos and kalamatianos are line dances, done with the dancers in a curving line holding hands, facing right.
Outstanding Greek Festival Event - "A Taste of Greece" which was sponsored by Saint Paul's Greek Orthodox Church in Irvine, California on June 29 - 30 & July 1, 2018!! Live entertainment was provided by the incredible Greek band "The Olympians" from Long Beach, CA. Awesome group that I have known for over 35 years, their music is Outstanding which raises Everyone's Kefi to the Max.!! Event provided Greek Gourmet Cuisine of various foods and Delicious "Low-Calorie" Pastries, as well as a Spirits Booth, which happens to be One of my Favorites ~ it's Ouzo Time Baby!!! OPAAA
Church Tours were provided as well as various Greek folk dancing performances, open guests dancing, kids’ games, various vendors displaying their beautiful and unique merchandise.
This Greek festival was and always will be a Truly Awesome event for an Entire Family to Enjoy!!! The Greek cuisine and delicious pastries were Superb and very tasty!!
