When it comes to superheroes, Morbius the living vampire has never been what you'd call an A-lister. But now this relatively obscure Marvel Comics character is literally a marquee hero, brought to life by Sony in the Jared Leto-starring "Morbius."

Though Morbius is known by most for his association with Spider-Man, Morbius has intersected with many characters over the course of his comics career, from Blade to She-Hulk. (He also has an association with the Marvel Comics version of Dracula, especially in his Ultimate universe storyline.)

The film was such a disappointment. I was really looking forward to it but it was just very 'Meh'. Too rushed & a poor script. Only saving grace was Matt Smith - who was brilliant 👏

0:06-0:09 actually showed Walter Pidgeon as Dr. Edward Morbious from 1956’s Forbidden Planet; he was the creator of Robbie the Robot and father of Altaira (Anne Francis).
Mr. Pidgeon also originated the role of Admiral Harriman Nelson, designer/builder of the nuclear super submarine Seaview in the 1961 movie Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea; Richard Basehart took over the role for the TV series version.

This was a good movie dont listen to the negative critics. He is a classic spiderman villian and a cool powerfull 1 as well. Cant wait to see him in future spiderman movies. Better then both venom films, he is similar to doctor conners aka the lizards character. Liked the movie check it out.
