New Nerf Nitron Review and Demo (Vortex 2011)

This is my video review of the new nerf Nitron blaster. While it is solid, the ROF is pretty slow and the ranges are the worst of the vortex line so far. I was somewhat disappointed, the scope is cool and the blaster is very solid, but I don't think it can complete with the praxis.

2016, I want this gun! I don't need more then say 40ft ranges for indoor wars, disc are really cheap now, and this gun isn't that bad really.

@trivlock absolutely, Im a big fan of the swarmfire and the stampede is also nice. Plus it comes with THREE clips. This comes with 1...huge disapointment.

@TheMachinga Its a tough call. I will be modding the praxis in a day or two when I have time. Right now I love the proton because Ive modded it the most and it has that clip that cost me next to nothing and excelent ranges due to that tricky torsion mod. I like the praxis the most stock, and I'm hoping I like it the most once I get done overhauling it.

You can put the clip in the back, too. There's a spot for clips behind the trigger handle.

Will you be doing the voltage mod soon? Quite interested to how the Nitron will fare after the mod.

Relly want this nerf blaster it dosent seem that bad over all the only bad thing I see is the battrie tray or how u load it but over all it looks great Nerf/Hasbro did a good job

Drac, I know your dissapointed in this, and with that loud flywheel it proablly wont be good for HVZ, but how about regular Nerf Wars? Would this be a good balster to bring?

Yeah, I thought it sounded a lot like a Barricade. And the two are actually rather similar, in that they both use those wheels to push the dart/disc out.
How much does this one jam?

@94whitedragon by the way, did you hold the bottom trigger down long enough for the blaster to charge? i'm justr tryin' to troubleshoot here.

To up the RoF, could you do a Voltage mod with the same type of battery as your Stampede? It may make the RoF better.

This blaster may be slow stock but this is one of the fastest nerf gus you can make, even faster than a modded rapidstrike

The Praxis has power, yes. But it does jam, and eventually, break in the wrong hands

if you were to compare an n-strike gun to this, it would be the longshot (longshot loses)
the thing comes with a scope, extra clip stores in the stock, and...
well it has no bi-pod, but it has a grip

@RigaudonAS The pre-production sets came with 2, but Nerf changed their mind. It might have something to do with the decision to make 20-disk clips sold separately (Which I have it from Nerf they will do).
