I'll be curious to hear your results. A suggestion - don't collapse the whole tunnel, just a short section and mark the location. If it's still active, you will see the tunnel section raised again. Give them about half a day, I think. I heard that's how to determine where to place traps, or in your case, where to put the hose. Let us know, I have a backyard full of tunnels waiting to be dealt with.
