I've done that, and I have 3 categories, mine, hubby's and house. When I first moved in with hubby, he had 3 big boxes of papers lol, I went through that so much I had to shred it all at the office. Now, his folder is even smaller than mine 🤣💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

That's awesome! I wish my paper clutter was as minimal as the first pile you got rid of! I had so much clutter that I got rid of at least 200 paper bags of papers in my first massive declutter several years ago. But I still have lots of decluttering left that I really need to do still. You're right about just keeping the stuff that truly needs to be kept that would be hard to get back and have a negative impact if they were lost.

Thank you for uploading. I used to keep product manuals for household electrical appliances and similar such as for my washing machine, fridge freezer, Tv etc. But then I realised these are all available online if I need them, so put them all in my paper recycling bin. I did enjoy this video very much because I think I got a lot out of it. I have too much paper, but since I’ve been watching your videos, I’ve really decreased the amount. I had 4 large file boxes. I have just 2 now. But I still have too many papers and my fear is like yours was: what if I will need them some day? I’m going to work on what I’ve still got here, and find a way to decrease the amounts. There are papers I absolutely need, like the deed to my home. Also tax papers. But I think there is more I can toss out and I will be working on those this coming week! Thank you for more great tips! Adrienne in NY

Cool Video 👍 Papers I am going to Scan soon, too. My Problem is that I need to Scan Papers every year. For my Fountain Pen I use Ink in a (Do Not Know the Word)... After finishing some more Minimalism Goals I am going to buy a "Otto Hutt Design 04" 👍

What do you do with all of the books and papers and digital files related to research for art projects? I’m sure you must also have lots of notebooks for planning and writing ideas.

I recommend you to use a inkwell instead of ink cartridges. Less plastics and its cheaper
