Thank you for your service! My son enlisted California National Guard & chose 46S. He leaves for Fort Meade in January after basic training. I’m so proud of him! Thank you for this video.

46S does television news as in this episode in Saigon Vietnam in 1973. It’s a great MOS. Later that year I got to announce the end of the Vietnam War there as part of the great team of officers, men and women of AFVN television - American Forces Vietnam Network in Saigon. It was the proudest moment of my life. I will always love the Army and my memories of her. PS - at that time the MOS was 71R.

I have enlisted in this MOS for the National Guard. From my understanding, National Guard is part time (1 weekend a month, 2 weeks a year).. how you do this traveling while maintaining a civilian career?
