Elite Dangerous: Beyond – Chapter Two is OUT NOW as a FREE content update on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The third Elite Dangerous season continues with the release of its second chapter, featuring new ships, new Thargoid encounters and additional gameplay content. Chapter Three and Chapter Four will launch later this year. The Beyond season of game updates is FREE for all Elite Dangerous and Elite Dangerous: Horizons players.

New threat? That's just a thargoid scout.

New weapon? That just a guardian weapon that was hidden behind a crazy grindwall that got tone down... but still nearly everyone *will ignore*

I didn't know there was going to be an update today until I tried to crank ED up this morning. I had a lot of active missions (including a handful of panetary scans I had completed but not handed in yet) but when it came online they were all gone and I just had a lot of fines. Though I think I had some of them, or maybe all of the fines. But the missions are gone, cargo is still there for a few of them. Is that supposed to happen? If so a notification in-game or something might be nice before future updates.

Edit: And it won't let me sell the the leftover haulage in the black market from the missions that were scrapped, says "Unable to complete transaction".
