Finally, an honest and practical review of the A53 phone. I've had this phone for around 3 months now and find that it is a good all-around phone that gives adequate performance and photo quality that most users will be satisfied with. It gives you most of the high-end Samsung phone features at less than half of the flagship phone price. The only downsides for me are the performance of the Exynos processor and the lack of a headphone jack, both of which are not deal breakers.

I'm really happy with my a53. While it's not a flagship, it's also less than half the flagship price yet still has 80% to 90% of the features. If you're looking for a feature-rich phone and can deal with a slightly slower processor (which is almost unnoticeable), you'll almost certainly love this Samsung offering.
Personally, I really don't notice the processor speed, as I don't game heavily on my phone, and really that's where you need the power. With the absolutely gorgeous display and blistering 120hz refresh rate, it simply blows away other phones I've had, display-wise, and handles day-to-day usage like a champ. For me, it checks all the positive boxes, and whatever negatives it has are inconsequential with how I use my phone.
When I consider the update promises from Samsung, I expect I'll use this phone for much longer than any of my other phones have lasted. A full 4 or 5 years before it becomes obsolete? Sign me up!
In conclusion, are there better phones out there? Absolutely. Are there phones with a better cost-to-feature ratio? Well, if so, not many. I'll take this awesome phone, and the $600.00 or so that I save will sure come in useful for other life needs.

Bought the 8gb, 128 varient for 30k ... phone is worth it, brilliant battery, punchy colors, very fast and super smooth.

I want to ask some questions that
1) Can HDR Playback in YouTube may support by giving updates and
2) Portrait videography is not there and can it come by update and
3) Exynos 1280 in A53 is optimised well now or can be better optimise in future by giving some updates
4) Can Exynos chipset is able to handle 4 years Major Android OS Updates and 5 years Security Updates beacause Exynos chipset history for long time is not good even if in its high-end flagship mobile phones.
5) Stabilization in Full HD at 60 FPS is also not there. So can it also be added in future by pushing updates

It's kinda sad when a budget phone has an SD slot but the premium flagships (s22, S22+, S22 Ultra) can't. Don't even get me started on the headphone jack hahaha! Thankfully SONY are still rocking the headphone jacks and expansion slots! 😁

Hi, when you say that it can't play hdr content is it referring to u tube? Can you please help me out here, thanks. So nothing in 2160 resolution? This phone is priced at 459 euros. Can you advice of a Samsung or Motorola which can play hdr content in this price range. . I currently use a Sony xa2 ultra. Is the a53 better or worse than this. Im very happy with the Sony xa2 ultra.
How do i know that a phone does play hdr content? What do i look for in the specifications to know this. Thanks in advance for your help 👍

Processing power is a non-issue except on the cheapest mobile devices. If you do anything processor-intensive, you will very quickly run into thermal throttling because of the lack of fans in the cooling system of these devices. Honestly, active cooling would probably drain the battery more quickly. I really wish they optimized these mobile processors more for efficiency than performance, since the performance is ultimately wasted anyway.
