How to use K tag to read microprocessors and eeproms

Thanks for all this lot. In my case the 2018 Forester got a new engine and the old tuning parameters cannot be cleared from the ECU. Can K tag do it?

a Question please: here you read an eeprom chip from a bad car ECU in order to write this dump in anothor chip of anothor ECU.
we can desolder this chip from the bad ECU and solder it in the new one
you do not need a ktag
is this procedure correct or no ?
