I don't understand why they constantly denying. I'm not referring to vacation, but I'm trying to take the day off for doctors appointments and keep getting denied. I'm done rescheduling because there's no point if I can't make the appointment.

I made my request for personal leave for 45 days without paying on December 29 of 2023 and I deserve to traveling to Africa to my big brother wedding on February 12 of 2024. Two days before signed for request I spoke with my manager and he told me go sign! After 19 days last Wednesday my manager call me on his office and told me Helena I will not aprove your request because another houseperson signed before you in November of 2023 and he will travel in February too!!! My question to him and union why the manager declined my request after 5 days at list of my request??? I already call union to trying to help me 5 days algo. Now today the union says will call the hotel director to talk about this situation. I’m really sad if union and my manager not do nothing about I really leave the job because I feel my manager playing with my FACE and he not professional manager. Please give me advice about this situation what I can do about this???
