I think people forget what the definition of foreign means it means someone from a different culture from you you can be from the same country but come from different cultures like my dad is fully Chinese my mom is Thai and black mixed.

Thai culture and Chinese culture are completely fucking different. Even if my mom was fully thai it would still be considered marrying a foreigner.

Not to mention people sit there and say that as if a whole lot of other foreigners tend to live in these countries. Like outside of China mainly because of Hong Kong and Shanghai having so many jobs for a lot of foreigners to work and being English friendly in terms of people understanding the language a lot of other Asian countries aren't like that so you're not going to find as many foreigners as you would think or as I think people assumed as you would like Europe or America.


Just because it's too ethnically Asian people doesn't mean that it's not too foreigners marrying each other. Like I've never seen this be an issue when I've seen people who are ethnically both black or white marrying each other even though technically they're from completely different countries it'll still be counted as a foreigner if you American white or black and you marry someone from like fucking Africa or Europe you're considered married to a foreigner regardless if you ethnically are the same thing because even though you would both fall under the category of white or black there's still a foreigner.

there is a difference between someone who grows up in America and is white / Hispanic versus someone who's from like fucking Spain /France /London or Africa like you're not from the same culture so there are foreigner. Like I have an uncle on my mom's side of the family who is married to a woman who is Indian and African mix you wouldn't sit there and look at them even though they look very similar because Southeast Asians and South Asians share similar facial features and both of them happen to be half black as far as the rest of the world is considered that doesn't mean that people look at the two of them and go oh you're not a foreign couple you guys are like the same because you're so close to each other geographically speaking know they still look at them like two people from different cultures who married each other like sometimes I worry about people and not understanding the meaning of words or what the hell culture means.
