I recently picked up my airbrush after a seven year break. It's videos like this that really help me tune in on current techniques and supplies.

Ive watched approx 1, 000 flame airbrushing videos and this is by the the absolute top video for thorough explanation that actually makes artistic sense for e newbie.

Thanks for taking this one on Trevor. There’s so many videos showing the Urethane paints to do fire and very few using water based. I really like your way of putting the videos together. The voice over with the images make it very easy to understand the stages and I really appreciate you taking the time to cover each step, so many videos leave out sections or assume the viewer knows it already. That often doesn’t help people like me who are watching to learn. Thanks for posting Sir.

So far I think this is the best way to do true fire. Ive seen several vids and this is very different. Trying to learn so I can paint my tank. This make me feel more confident.

The bottom left looks like fire flame's, some of the best I've ever seen. The sharp edges elsewhere in the piece gives the appearance of solid matter's such a different sheet steel or silken cloth! But you explain this perfectly in the video and recommends as much of freehand and the least of the template's is the way to go.
Such a difficult subject to nail, I've tried flame's in so many mediums and it's as difficult in any one of them.
A really good video thank you for sharing, to point out where I maybe going wrong... again.... and again.

It used to bug me how many artists would make how too videos of the same thing. However, you hsve changed my opinions 10 fold. The way you teach and explain as you go. Is a talent in its self. Iv painted flames for as long as the late master mike lavelle. So dont give out compliments much, but you sir make me feel like i can up my game with your masterful ability to explain art. I never had any formal art training, and am that body guy, wanna be artist/ turned artist mike used to tease about. The guy with the chicken car. LoL Anyways, other then being s great artist yourself. You are the best teacher i have ever witnessed and will certainly send all new airbrush artists to your videos for now on. Thank you very much for sharing both of your talents
