I STARTED TRODDING WITH RASTAFARI WHEN I WAS 14 YEARS OLD. I REMEMBER BUYING THIS CASSETTE WHEN I WAS 19 FROM A A RASTA SHOP IN MIAMI. I ASKED EMPRESS ANGELA IF SHE HAD ANY RECORDINGS FROM NYABINGHIS BECAUSE I WANTED TO LEARN THE CHANTS. AND WITH TIME I DID AND SOON AFTER DISCOVERED THERE WERE LOCAL GATHERINGS AND NYANGHIS IN MIAMI. WHEN I WENT TO MY FIRST BINGI I CHANTED WITH ALL MY HEART. AND THE FIRST TIME I HEARD THE DRUMS IN PERSON EACH HEART BEAT AND THUNDER I COULD FEEL IN MY VERY SOUL. A LOT HAS CHANGED SINCE THEN. THE RASTA COMMUNITIES I REMEBER ARE ALL GONE. ALOT OF RASTAS HAVE TRIMMED FOR BETTER EMPOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDING MYSELF. IM NOW 45 YEARS OLD, CURRENTLY AT WORK AND I WAS MISSING NYABINGHI. THIS REALY TOOK ME BACK! I MEAN IM HERE AT WORK CHANTING WITH TEARS IN MY EYES. RASTAFARI STILL LIVES INSIDE OF ME AFTER ALL THESE YEARS.
