POV: Because they left Y/n at Hogwarts to search for the Horcruxs' she forgets them (she doesn't forget Ginny, Neville or any of her new friends since they left) but when they come back she doesn't even recognise them (Y/n is Harry's twin sister but isn't a horcrux, because of her memory problems The Dursleys treated Y/n differently knowing how she forgot.
