I am a 25 year old French women married to an American, living in the United States and we both dress well.

Doing my hair & makeup in the morning goes hand in hand with brushing my teeth and washing my face.

My husband favors jeans or slacks with relax shirts and nice leather shoes but without laces. He gets the comfort as well as the style.

I wear dresses on the daily for comfort and go the extra miles with shapewear, tailored dress and heels when going outside.

I always carry a purse and we both use cologne.

Even for a simple walk, it is not about not wanting to be comfortable or being snobs. On the contrary we are more than normal people, it is about creating the habit and building the discipline in our life of having a certain flair.

My Grand-mother was never rich but had perfect manners, always wore matching earring and shirt as well as the same color lipstick for 50 years and an amazing scent of face cream & perfume.

When someone ask me what’s it’s like to be a French women, I’d say it is about embodying my Grand-mother the bast as I can.
