What it means is that my already limited interest in Twitter has effectively vanished.

I already deleted my Twitter app away. I was losing too many brain cells reading people HATING, COMPLAINING all the time over nothing.

These trolls are exhausting, got tired of it. They really need some sort of Phone confirmation to stop trolling accounts or something.

What a great guy, he's done so much and is now going to attempt purification on one of the 5 most toxic "popular platforms"

Only the narcissists crying about what can potentially happen to Twitter under new management think that platform has any real value to human society.

Giving the media driving hysteria, I predict platform will not deviate noticeably from the way it is currently ran. At best, the moderation on the site will be more evenhanded and the TOS will be slightly less vague.

Just heard about a Biden tweet getting fact checked. The entire left wing is about to lose their mind😂

The town square is owned by the government so you have 1st amendment rights there, you have no rights on a privately owned town square

“Free Speech” was a concept devised by the Framers of the constitution strictly to protect citizens from being jailed for critiquing their government and protesting. That’s why slander and libel laws are Constitutional. “Free speech” dies not mean that a publisher, (like a newspaper or social media outlet) is obligated to print anything everyone says. You have a right not to be jailed for criticizing politicians and government policy but no one is constitutionally obligated to print or broadcast your bullsh*t. If Elon Musk is going to do it for you, two things:
A) It will cost you. B) You better not criticize him.

I support what Musk is willing to do with Twitter. People who works there or even its algorithms should not be the judges who decide whether something is true or false, or it is appropriate or not

It means nothing to most people. But some are hysterical, about it.

The amount of spelling and grammar errors, not to mention the unhinged thought processes, in this comment section is truly troubling.

It means that free speech will finally be allowed on Twitter. It’s amazing. I’m still not gonna be on Twitter. But watching the fascists on the left melt down over this is a beautiful sight. 😂

Just other ownership, and different sets of rule. I never have Twitter, “ So all the best “ Mr E Musk”…

I think he is right on the trump issue but he needs a way to make sure misinformation doesn't spread
