I've never used Toggle and don't think I could do this. However I do use 12 different alarms during the day to help me stay focused on tasks. It's a strange method but it works! 😎 thanks so much for sharing!

You bring up a good point! I use it for everything and have been starting to realize that the starting my time whenever I go to work on anything at all is a bit of an extra step to everything

This is gold, i time track but with a rough estimate not using a tracker. i can likely see this drive more productivity if i tracked it. Going to use it. Thanks for sharing it!

Great video! I dont know about other people's use case but I started using toggle because I find myself not able to really use calendar time blocking effectively for the simple fact that my job really uses our calendar availability to set up meetings. And people within my Organization really use it, so I found that if I wanted to set aside time for something like 'answer emails' and block off the time, I could potentially be taking a time slot that could be a meeting time for my team. At least this way I could still hold myself accountable by hitting the metric that I want to hit and seeing the time but not be worried about sticking to a specific time in the calendar such as "2pm email must be done."

Yeah man i get what our saying I felt the same, I was using a similar app that allowed me to track my time second by second and I didn't really enjoy the restrictions I was setting on myself, I guess I'm more of a person that enjoys the flow of work rather than huge restrictions

I only time track when I feel like I'm not getting work done. I wouldn't use this tool on the daily and only when I feel ike I'm in a rut!! I know sometimes I can get neurotic when it comes to tracking things so it wouldnt be healthy for me LOL

While this video initially seemed negative and useless, eventually it uncovers the benefits of Time-Tracking for short periods of time (within a week) and Time-Blocking for longer periods of time based and how to do it... Ultimately, a great video and a saver! Thank you! ;-) PS one small suggestion, slow down your talking a bit for the benefit of your audience (phew!)

tracking time is very important, time blocking is just a plan and you don't what is exactly happened with your time and give you a good feeling for spending time.

I've used RescueTime for years. The free plan is enough for me.

I remember your video about toggle and I though it was an awesome alternative way to record days instead of journaling. I'm in real estate so I am constantly asking myself is this is the best way to spend time and was toying with the idea of writing everything down for a week to reflect. A week might be too short though. I'm in awe of how scheduled your days/ weeks are though. Goals!!

Wow great share definitely something I could use, I normally just use my phone and keep time manually but this is so much better. 😊😁

I used Toggl for a while! It’s really interesting to see how you spend time. Hmmm looks like they’ve done some updates since I last used it.

It’s nice how apple tracks your screen time automatically based on the app or program you have open. I’m sure it’s not as accurate but it would be nice if Togl had something like that for on screen activities.
