I saw the Japanese made BR75, based on the Hilux pickup, at the Tokyo Camping Car Show in February of this year. The motorhome itself looked very good, but the trailer was a bit of a design disaster. I cannot understand why they didn't design a better chassis to allow for Hilux sized wheels and off-road tyres. Also, since the trailer requires a towing licence being over 750kg, they really should have put overrun (aka surge) brakes on it to allow for a greater payload. There isn't anywhere really to go off-roading in Japan anymore and I feel that their biggest market would be overseas, but the departure angle of the BR75 is quite bad for a real off-road vehicle. It should really be seen as a motorhome with an off-road styling, but little substance, despite being based on the Hilux.

This is really great but there is rarely anything from the American continent & if you're not a millionaire fun to know that Germany does that kind of mods on pickup but it's out of reach for commoners
