Is the Leica Q2 Enough? #shorts

The Leica Q2 is a $5000 powerhouse, but it has it's limits. Is it enough to be your only camera for a multi-day trip?

I guess the Q2 is fine if you just want something super cheap so you don't care if you lose it or break it. Personally I would use an M10 or M11 in a pinch but ideally the Leica S3, the difference in image quality really stands out when someone looks at my photos on their five year old cracked iphone screen

This type of photography requires a special camera discipline which is why I use an Olympus with a 12-100 Pro lens. The weather sealing and IBIS combined with damn fine colour science is sufficient for what I need plus the 4K video is added bonus

Leica Q2 is NOT small. NOT tiny NOT small. Sony Rx1 is small. Fuji x100v is kinda small. Leica Q and Q2 is NOT small

You are on a photography journey and many of us have gone through your process. I remember the first time I packed my Canon Rebel with only a 35mm lens, fear I'd regret it. But of course the opposite was true, more pics and faster composition as there are no gear variables. And now its time for your next step, a Fuji X100 series fixed lens camera, get a used one, you'll love it.

me too, I always overpack with lenses often ranging from 12-200mm and sometimes even up to 600mm with multiple zooms and primes, now I'm considering the Leica Q3 just for the fun of it

Landscapes shots I would miss lens compression.. would be nice hiking with just the q2 but it’s a big commitment.
