Your' statement "Who has ever thought to themselves 'I wish I could take my sim with me'? No one" or something like that shows your point of view as a single young man. :D As a father of 4 and a full house I can tell you having the ability to fold that sucker up and get it out of the way so others can play their titles is a life saver! LOL

Years of putting off making my own . I bought this months ago and couldn't be happier. Comfortable, sturdy, foldable. I'm getting old and getting in and out is a breeze.

U can use the TS-XW on the GT-Lite with minimal flex by using the strap included. The strap mod can be used on the wheel plate to make it a tiny bit sturdier. And for the brake problem, the seat's just trying to give you the effect of the car lurching forward when you brake hard - next level racing thought about this to replicate their traction+ motion simulators!
P.S. The 2nd statement is a joke.

Just got the F-GT Lite which is the 299 version and after about a week I love this thing and how many customization options it has, having everything fixed and easily ready to slide out is super dope

Idk about you guys but what really helped w me not lifting the rig up under braking was putting the strap on the pedal deck bars as well. And really tightening it to the back legs of the chair. worked wonders. didn't lift a bit.

I had big doubts even after seeing good reviews for this thing. It's perfect! All i wanted was a setup to keep my wheel from ripping off my desk with high FFB while drifting. Pretty comfy too!

After spending $1700 on a Fanatec setup (around the CSL DD) I foolishly planned to desk-mount it since my desk takes up about half the space in my room. This was a mistake since the DD desk mount is a flimsy piece of plastic and using a load cell pedal on the floor just wasn't happening. Not wanting to spend another $1700 on a rig that wouldn't fit in my room I bought this. It's way larger than I thought, which is a bit annoying since I'm tight on space. On the other hand that makes it way more solid than I thought- I honestly expected something akin to a lawn chair size-wise, but it's significantly beefier. I haven't had any real issues with flexibility using my DD, though I did have to adjust how I break to stop the chair from tilting back. I'm very happy with how this cockpit has worked out for the price. It's a great entry-level design.

I love this thing!! The folding ability is amazing. Folded out it’s like 5”x2.5” folded it’s like 2”x2.5”. I race along side my bed, so folding it allows me to tuck it away every night. It folds as easily as a lawn chair.

The F-GT lite handles the fanatec CSL DD pro very well. Pretty much agree with everything you said but I will say this thing is huge. It's much bigger than it looks in pictures and video. If you are in a tight space then look elsewhere.

I have found that it is better to attach the buttkicker at the top of the seat. you will feel way more vibrations when its installed there. Also, I have mine set up in a bedroom with shag carpet which soaks up some of the buttkickers vibration. Once I mounted the seat up on 20" x 4" x 3/4" boards, I got much more vibration. I use a t300 wheal on it. I store it on the side of my desk and pull it out when ever I want to drive. It takes about 5 minutes to set up. I remove the pedal mount when I fold it up - since it is a little easier to maneuver around. I am very pleased with my GT Lite.

I have the new gt dd pro on this rig and it works great no wobble or shaking. The trick is to use the black strap that come in packaging to wrap around wheel base bar and front leg bar.

I had one. It's pretty decent, but it really is just a lawn chair with a wheel deck, pedal plate, and shifter mount attached to it. The foldability aspect of it, though, wasn't that great. Getting it to fold up like they market how it can fold up ended up being more trouble than it's worth to me. And the foldability was the main reason why I got it. I was looking for something that I can pull out at a whim, race a few laps, then fold it back up and put it away with a minimal of effort. This thing wasn't it.

I got the F GT-Lite and regret not shopping around. The adjustments aren't fine enough and when I try some kind of GT/V8 supercar position my knees hit the wheel base and the padding under the thighs feels inadequate, not to mention the lack of lumbar support. There are loads of these on fb marketplace now for good reason and people can't move them.

You can also just put something heavy onto it so it wont lean back when you brake... Be creative with it. You can also just modify it so its more stable.

Include some footage where you can see the whole cockpit - detail-shots are fine, but people also want to see the product as a whole.

I'm not looking at this for home use, but instead for LAN parties. We have a few each year, and want to mix in some racing games, but portability is an issue. So yeah, that use case is out there.

Pretty good cockpit, can fit my shh shifter and ebrake comfortably. And added some bass shakers to it and it works like a charm. Great starter rig imo.
