The name " Urartu " was given to the land Eria or Eriakhi ( later Airarat) by the Assyrians. The Nairian kings were fighting against Eriakhi(Airarat- land of Arians).The Bihayner@ called their country Bihayna, their capital-Thospawan, which meant:a shield land, castle.The same word exists even in Russian language: Dospex(Shield of a warrior, castle).So, Nairi(The Assyrian name for Bihayna) was the core Armenian (Hay) kingdom.There wasn't a " Urartian" language because there was no such a nation ....The Hays were fighting against Eriakhi, proto indoiranians.What happened after is up to you to decide: where was Armenia Hayq, Bihayna) .By the way, the bihaynians were the Hayassians .
