It was a close stoppage, but i think Barnett had the upper hand. I'm kinda surprised that Mir is being such a sore loser, and that Dana White is just adding onto it.

Not a half bad analysis. I don't know if I'd ever classify Mir as brilliant, because his effectiveness usually ends when he's not in control of a fight. Brilliance is also application outside your comfort zone. If we're talking pure grappling, then yes, he's brilliant.

You can never tell which Frank Mir you'll see in the cage sometimes he's a world beater other time he seems lost in his own head and look beaten before he even gets in there.

Mir has lost three in a row, but I don't think he's finished by any stretch of the imagination. He has the advantage of having lost to three very good fighters who were either the champion, were at one point the champion, or have a very serious prospect of challenging for the championship title. He's not losing to nobody's on an undercard. He's also showing significant improvements in his conditioning, striking, and wrestling. You can't win 'em all guys, give him a break.

You're right, he looks a lot better. Have you watched Mir from the early to mid 2000's? He had good jiujitsu, horrible wrestling, worse conditioning, and striking that made everything else look great. Mir's improved practically every aspect of his game. You can't win them all.

Yeah, kinda, because every time Tito lost, he still wanted attention by saying he was injured before the fight or that he wasn't finished, or his opponent threw illegal strikes. Barnett deserved his moment, Mir lost, but he cried about it to everyone with ears, and took Barnetts spotlight away.

hahaha frank is in denial. he thinks because he has never lost two in a row somehow he's immune from the axe. he needs to retire, he's not even in the top 15 anymore and he already was champion.
