Dr. Kaul is very eager in opening of the civil aviation sector & i too agree with it but We should also not forget that this is a very grave situation & while We are opening of the this sector, the government should be extra cautious because at the end of the day we don't want people dying just because We were in hurry in reviving the economy as we all know nothing is precious than Life..

'Crisis is an opportunity in disguise.' This has been rightly proved by the AIR INDIA as Mr.Harsh Vardhan rightly pointed out. AI is indeed a strategic asset. Going forward GoI & AI management should convert this into a healthy balance sheet and create a sense of responsibility and commitment in the entire AI staff.
Having a state entity in a sector has at many times proven to be of startegic value in the times of distress.

At this time, it is evident that 2020 is almost entirely going to go in a partial/complete lockdown. So, the best way for airlines is to take passengers who are stuck in other countries back to their homes, for which government must give them permission with the requisite testing. Cargo must go on as usual. But any travel other than these essentials in 2020 will be unwarranted in my opinion.
