ComfyUI 26 The Node That Improves Your Images, Stable Diffusion

The December 2023 update of ComfyUI contained the Self_Ateention Guidance node. If you'd add this node in the Model link between Loader and Sampler, nine out of ten images will look sharper, more detailed and have more color and contrast. It comes at the cost of a litle bit of speed. With Ctrl-Q the node can simply be bypassed.

I actually preferred all of the non-SAG images in the A/B test. They look more natural and compositionally accurate. Consider the "girl in the 50s" photo, where the original has a retro photo shoot look to it, which is turned into an HD modern photo by SAG. The artworks also have an issue where the SAG version makes the subject look so photorealistic that they seem to be CGI/real humans injected into a painted background. It's an effect I actually try to get rid of when adjusting parameters for generated artwork even without SAG.

Hi, thanks for this video, it came up right on time, because I'm playing around with this node since yesterday :D Could you share some rule of thumb for the settings of the SAG? I tried many different combinations of Scale and Blur-Sigma but haven't found anything that would be consistent and work in every (most) generations.

Thanks for the video! can you configure the SAG node to achieve not only image quality but also consistency? it happens to me mostly when I use an upscaler that loses consistency. What methods do you recommend to achieve consistency in the upscaling process? thanks in advance!

I have one gripe for your videos: you spend too much time on the examples before getting to the meat. You probably only need to show 2 or 3 examples, max and only need to spend a few seconds on them each.
