The entire cast has done a masterful job with this show. Hiro Sanada & Ana Sawai most of all. If they do not receive awards for this, then it will be a travesty. Great show, masterfully done. I remember the original series. It pales in comparison to this current version. Well done to all involved!!

After seeing him be one of the only good parts in last samurai when I was a kid, and then going on to being one of the only good parts in 47 ronin, it’s nice he finally got an actually good western samurai project that he could be apart of and get the recognition he deserves.
