OMG HELP! I made little stop motions of each of my finished vessels and overlayed them onto the part of the video where I show you my pieces, but i'm just now noticing they've disappeared!!! I'm so sorry about that - if you're interested there is a reel on my ig with the final pieces 😭💗❤️

The letter to your mama...my heart!! You must have a lovely relationship with her! Also, ceramicist here, and you did so well! Throwing is bloody hard, its such a skill and your first pieces were great!x

I am a ceramicist and i think yoe did AMAZING for the first time ! This craft really has many many ways to go wrong lol my fav of yours is the flower cup. btw a espresso with a hint of milk is either named a espresso macchiato or a cortado :)

Definitely relate to things never being as scary as they actually are. I’ve putting off dance classes and videography because of the feeling of not being good but this I want to definitely change that as well

Your first pieces are so cute! Definitely keep one to look back on when you're a master ceramicist! 🌸💕✨ For your first pieces they are really good 🤩

Love this - I feel like a lot of 30-somethings are entering their craft renaissance era (me included!)...it's so refreshing to try new things. Also, completely unrelated (random) question, as I just realised - when/why did you stop wearing your nose ring? I thought it suited you so well! Thank you for the fantastic vid, as always ☺

My fiance proposed to me at a pottery class! It was the cutest thing. He had got them to make a ceramic toadstool and at the end they presented it to us and inside was the ring.

I'm so proud of you for taking that class! All your ceramics look already so cute, i can't wait to see what you're going to do in a year! I hope mam received her little pot in good shape!! And i agree I LOVE HANDWRITTEN LETTERS, i wish snailmail could come back, i often think of my grandma who used to send me letters and now that she's no longer here i really cherish being able to read them back <3 dgd I have to say the last answer about paid project and hearing "dont give up dont be afraid of rejection" made me cry haha I think trying to live off your art is very hard when you don't want to impose yourself (..because..you're scared cough cough) I only wish to that person and all of us struggling that in 2024 they managed to finally reach that goal of getting their work out there and being paid for it <3 It's definitely a sensitive topic as well for someone who also taught herself but we can do it! <3 (I'm also trying to convince myself right there haha) Have a safe trip!! I'm so excited and looking forward to those traveling vlog and will live vicariously through them haha! I know its currently quite cold but I hope you will have some spring taste by the time you go back to tokyo!! Have a fantastic week!! (and you reading too <3)

How fun that you're doing clay. I LOVE clay. Throwing advice my professor gave me in college. Don't fire another piece until you can take a 2 lb ball of clay and throw it at least 8 " tall (so that's approx 1kg that's 20cm tall). There's a certain amount of skill that it takes to do this, so it makes a great goal. Just keep throwing your missed attempts into the slip bucket until you can get there. You don't have to take more classes, just practise. You'll be amazed at how quickly you can get there if you have that kind of focus. ...just my 2 cents :)
