I've worked MARS stations, when I was in the military . I started out in my early career as AFSC 29373, Ground Radio Operator, in early 70's. First MARS station I worked AGA5AA Net Control Station, then transferred to AGA3AA Net Control Station. During Viet Nam War my station processed 80-100 phone patches, each phone patch last only 3 minutes and around 24 MARS grams per day. I've noticed MARS changed their numeric regions. AGA5AA was located at Air Force Academy, CO. AGA3AA was located at Scott AFB, IL.
