Absolutely correct I started chanting hanuman chalisa a lot and naturally gravitated to wards Shri Ramji. I wanted to know about him more, listen his bhajans more then one thing led to another and he led me to Shri Hari and Mahadev. I know they are the same parabhram with different personalities and behaviors but it's kind of unfair that people mostly advice to only worship one god form for a long time. I want to worship both of them!

Writing this with Niswartha bhakti bhaav (निःस्वार्थ भक्ति भाव) – selfless devotion.


In Hanuman Chalisa, "bal" means strength (बल), "buddhi" means intelligence (बुद्धि), and "bhakti" means devotion (भक्ति). These words remind us of Hanuman’s main qualities—he’s incredibly strong, very wise, and totally devoted to helping others.

There’s also this phrase, "sankat mochan", which means "the one who removes obstacles." It’s basically saying that Hanuman is the one who helps us get through tough times. When we face problems, like mental or physical challenges, Hanuman is there to guide us and give us the strength to overcome them.

Recently, I started reciting Hanuman Chalisa whenever I felt mentally weak, and it gave me immense strength. It reminds me that I can face challenges just like Hanuman did, with courage and faith.

Don’t you see Hanuman in the laborers who work tirelessly to make our surroundings better?
Don’t you see Hanuman in the drivers who ensure we reach our destinations safely every day?
Don’t you see Hanuman in the vegetable vendors and farmers who provide us with food, working in the heat and rain, just like Hanuman served Lord Rama?
Don’t you see Hanuman in those who install ACs in tall buildings, risking their lives with harnesses to make our lives comfortable?
Don’t you see Hanuman in the transport drivers who drive long distances, often away from their families, so that goods and essentials reach us?

Just like Hanuman served selflessly, these people quietly make our lives better, doing work we often overlook, but without which, we wouldn't be able to live as comfortably.

This is true i started listening to panchamukhi hanuman kavach and started to experience crazy crazy things later on. I stopped it on the third day and things got back to normal until then it was a real nightmare uff!

(which is found in the Rudrayamala Tantra, in which Lord Shiva told Devi Parvati that this mantra is the key to unlock powers of Devi Durga or Chandi)

It also found in Durga saptshti as it is believed uncompleted without it

I heavily request that he explains it in details as he is an experienced Tantric practitioner.
And I'm regularly doing sadhana of this mantra.

If you are single you enjoy worshipping Hanuman Ji, earn merit...but I have seen the tantric Hanuman taking ppl to tasks, & it is that evident that Hanuman Ji can make you an 'equal' slave if you fall prey to tantra especially if you are into a relationship!!!! Many hymns of praise exist for Anjani Putr Hanuman.
Why is Hanuman Chalisa the most popular amongst all of them.
Chalisa or 40 represents a mandala. A mandala is a sacred circle and circle denotes completion. Thus Hanuman chalisa is a complete hymn in that it covers all essential attributes and actions of Anjani Putr Hanuman.
The author is the revered modern day saint Goswami Tulsidas. In Bhavishyottar Purana, Lord Shankara tells Maa Parvati that Valmiki Himself will reincarnate as Tulsidas to compose his Ramayana in vernacular language (Awadhi) in Kali Yuga.
As per Maharishi Jaimini’s Katapayadi Sankhya, the word “Hanuman Chalisa” has its numerical equivalent as 737508 which corresponds to Meena Rasi. Meena Rasi or Pieces sign is a Moksha Rasi or one which confers liberation. Thus Hanuman chalisa has a liberating effect.
