RARE Mick Thomson Slipknot Mask

I believe Mick wore his battered hockey mask underneath the leather devil because the leather devil mask didn't fit him or was very uncomfortable for him to wear. As far as we know he only wore it for a couple of early 1999 photoshoots for S/t. He did obtain it from the same store that fans are still buying the "Latigo Leather Devil" from today called 665 Leather located in Hollywood. I guess Slipknot took a trip into town during a break between recording in early 99 and Mick stumbled upon that mask in the window of the store or perhaps he went in who knows. I just know for a fact that it didn't fit him so he had a friend of the band back in Des Moines make him a couple of remakes based on the same design but in different sizes. I think he ended up using 2 of those for touring. The guy who did the job for him still has one of the rejected masks to this day.

Cool that you have the death of the family joker mask in the background. I have that one. Might be a noob question but what is that one made out of? Seems a bit flimsy for latex but I don't know
