Given all the newer higher powered ebikes on the market, I'd honestly say the Rad is a beginner's ebike or something I could safely take to the EU without getting into too much trouble. In the US you now have companies selling 2000-3000w ebikes as standard.

I found that it also works on the new RadCity 5 Plus. Not that I expect to need to be going faster than 20 miles an hour but one never knows what life might throw at me. Thanks for the video!

I just bought one of these a few weeks ago and the only thing I was thinkin about was more speed once it came. When I typed in “more speed rad rover 6+” I was literally expecting to see perhaps a battery that would cost me boku money and I probably woulda spent it. Thank u thank u thank. God Bless u!

Thanks! I've seen a few videos going over this for the Rad City 5 (same electronics), but they disappear after a while. I'm guessing Rad bikes is just asking YouTubers to take these videos down so as to not get pegged for trying to get around the law.

For me, this workaround is essential -- I wouldn't enjoy my RadCity 5 Plus nearly as much with the speed limited to 20mph. The 25 mph is essential.

I'm thinking about buying this bike but only because it's on sale for a great price right now . Although at regular price I don't think I'd buy this bike since bikes like the Hemingway cruiser, heybike brawn, Aventon Aventure all have more features, higher top speeds and bigger batteries for the same retail price. I think with Rad you maybe get more assurance of future tech support since it seems to be a big well established company. The Hemingway cruiser is so similar but has a much bigger battery and I can't see buying this instead unless I'm saving money.

Can you change the watts to 750 on a Canadian Radrover 6 plus? I tried it and only gave me 2 options 350 watt and 500watt but no 750watt, gotta be another Hack.

Hi, Does anyone know if riding the bike at 25mph will significantly affect how long the batter lasts me before replacing? (not per charge)

I know 20MPH max speed limit is required for "Class 2" designation, and "Class 3" can go up to 28MPH. Above that, I have no idea. Would it be classified as an electric motorcycle if it goes faster than that?
