Guys something important about vector he as originally made by anki who unfortunately went bankrupt but ddl bought it and made the 2.0 version, but it is pretty pricey and to avoid the same thing happening to them they made a subscription for vectors servers so basically you have to pay a really expensive subscription (I can't remember the price) to just use him which sucks but like if you have the money it's prob the best robot. Just wanted to add that note here so you know. Also I'm not sure of how reliable ddl is since it took them since 2019 to start shipping and they only recently started to ship so uhh 3 years yeah umm... (and people complained about emo's shipping times...)

Hi Eric, Warren here from Toronto! I think when Digital Dream Lab gets their act together (and stops sueing everybody), Vector and Cozmo are excellent robots. I owned the 1.0 version of these robots. DDL has many operational issues. I’ve been waiting nearly 2 years for the 2.0 versions. They should integrate Cozmo’spersonality into Vector. Cozmo comes with 3 cubes whereas, Vector comes with 1 cube. I found Cozmo more interesting. Cosmo’s big drawback is that he can only work through an app. Vector may edge out Cozmo because Vector can function independently of an app. Have you heard about Loona the pet robot? Although it’s larger than a desktop size robot, it looks really cool! If I EVER RECEIVE MY VECTOR AND COZMO 2.0, I will keep you posted. Have yourself a fantastic day. Thanks for you GREAT videos!

Vector's cool and all, but he also needs a subscription to be functional, so went with the emo.

Yeah that's true the price of cozmo is gone has gone like up to $20.95And there's 2 vectors 1 is also the same price as Cosmo The other 1 is $13.95

Cozmo and Vector were made by Anki, NOT DDL. DDL bought out the Anki assets has attempted to update Vector but there seem to be issues with their version 2.0 including failure to deliver to many purchasers. Cosmo 2.0 from DDL does NOT exist. People have been waiting for 2 years for Cosmo 2.0, with no end in sight. Both Cosmo and Vector were great 3 years ago, but they are old tech and not as good as Emo. Edit: Just adding that I own Cosmo, Vector and Emo.

I think we will see some very good desktop robots in the future with better inbuilt ai. Conversation is the prime function I am hoping will improve a lot, hearing every word you say and interrupting at times when it has a thought! I really don't see most of the robots as ready just yet, too many gliches or not enough interaction. 5 years and maybe I will invest. Keep the channel going I really enjoy the reviews of all the robots.
