The BBC’s flagship political debate programme heads to Pennsylvania on Thursday, 10 October ahead of the US election in November.

It will be recorded at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, presented by Fiona Bruce and featuring a local audience.

They will quiz a panel, including the BBC's Anthony Zurcher, former Trump campaign adviser Bryan Lanza and commentator Mehdi Hasan.

Most of these issues whether it’s inflation or immigration are global issues. It’s not just happening to us. That means it can’t just be fixed here. This is important information to know. It means we need to work with other countries. We can only work with our friends around the world. We can’t be friends with North Korea or Russia. They are closed societies that keep their citizens under lock and key. Nothing has changed for them in 100 years.

It's always impressive to watch people say "I don't really know about..." and immediately go on an emotional rant about how they know the best way to solve the problem.

Well, the elderly lady couldn't get any answers on how she can afford medicine and rent at the end, but we sure as hell got to hear the Mehdi Hassan's views on the Middle East for several minutes.

Now the definition of "SEAL" has got Marina White and some others confused. How difficult is it to understand that definition? If you "sealed" something, does it mean you also let some liquid out. Then that would be "UN-sealed". Gosh.

That was really interesting! I like how raw and unscripted it was. I feel bad for all the younger people (college students?) who raised their hands but didn't get called on. It did seem like some people onstage and in the audience got more time than others. Oh well, I always love a British-run program for a different perspective. I love how the moderator has a good sense of humor and kept it all together. Great job! 💙🤍❤️

Question time usually does a good job of addressing UK issues. But as an American - I was disapponted with the panel - the Trump supporters were just mindlessly hypocritical and not challenged. Meanwhile the Harris supporters didn’t represent the average Democrat - they were leftists. Whose view points on issues (other than Trump himself) are exactly that - too left for even the average Dem.

Also the the lack of fact checking crowd members of all political persuasions took away from the debate
