Keith Grange leads one of the SKA Design Consortia, designing the Signal and Data Transport networks, which are the backbone of the telescope. He's previously studied clusters of galaxies, measuring the Hubble Constant and the rate of expansion of the Universe.
The Square Kilometre Array (SKA) will be the world’s largest and most sensitive radio telescope. It will address fundamental unanswered questions about our Universe including how the first stars and galaxies formed after the Big Bang, how the mysterious "dark energy" is accelerating the expansion of the Universe, the role of magnetism in the cosmos, the nature of gravity, and the search for life beyond Earth.
bluedot is an award-winning festival of discovery at the grounds of a deep space observatory. Set against a backdrop of the iconic Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank, bluedot combines a truly stellar line-up of music with a ground-breaking programme of live science experiments, expert talks and immersive artworks.
