Dendritic Spikes in the Direction-selective Ganglion Cell

This video shows excitatory synaptic input depolarizing dendrites in the direction-selective ganglion cell and causing dendritic spikes. Each dendritic spike propagates to the cell body and produces a somatic spike, which then propagates down the optic nerve.
