The Ferrari 488 GTB is one of the BEST cars Ever - One Take

The Ferrari 488 GTB is, to put it bluntly, one of the best cars I've ever driven, at any price, ever. It's mind-blowingly fast, docile, easy to drive slowly and quickly, and comfortable enough for daily use or a long road trip. Its 662 HP Twin-Turbo V8 makes all the right sounds and produces more shove than mere mortals could ever ask for, and it manages that power with a completely seamless traction control system that you won't even know is there, until you turn it off and either perform a heroic drift, or a massive crash.

What makes this guy so much better than every other Youtube car guy is that he can out drive every one of them, and he could care less about what anyone thinks. These other guys are putting around L.A. having no idea how to even shift a DSG and they care more about shows and who's seeing them drive down the road. This guy is out there alone just absolutely killing it. He wants to pass cafe bikes that are doing 120. He puts each car through its paces.. He's a great driver and he loves to drive. He does not care what anyone else thinks, he's in it for the experience.

Gotta understand that theres always going to be people whining and complaining about something. It's 2016 and people are still whining that 911s are liquid cooled. Ok yes, the 488 doesn't sound as good as a 458, but it still sounds pretty damn good and its a better car in just about every other way. Also keep in mind, the 288 GTO and F40 were TT v8s, and those are considered by many to be the best cars to ever be assembled by the firm, so this is by no means sacrilege.

Might just be my favorite one take yet. In this video, you seem much more casual and relaxed, even compared to some of your other one takes. It could be do to the fact that you've had time to get comfortable with the car, that the car is just so good, or that you don't have to worry about holding a conversation with a passenger, but I like it a lot. This longer, more casual form of video is really great when the car itself is so damn cool. Keep it up, man.

These are the best car reviews I've seen on You Tube and I've seen a zillion of them including probably every Jay Leno's Garage. This guy doesn't waste your time like some others and he knows how to drive really well. I think I read somewhere yesterday that there's no more smoking tire and that makes me sad. I'd rather have read there's no more something else other than this guy. Thanks for producing videos without fluff. I wish you well in future endeavors.

Great video and review! I loved that you really drove the car and put it through its paces. I've once driven the Ferrari California in Italy and was really impressed with the performance. But the 488 is a lot faster. I can only imagine the thrill of driving that car. Must be exhilarating!
