This is the exact premise of Baywatch Hawaii (the last season) where Mitch (David Hasselhoff) moved to Hawaii to establish an elite lifeguard team. - Honestly, I'm glad they are treating this as a new series and not a reboot, though. Baywatch started out to be a serious rescue series then went off the rails. This could be good.
