CRT S8040 UK CE MultiNorm CB radio (Mobile) - service adjustments

Another new set & still current in 2020, but we've had lurking of the shelves for 3 years. A basic set but with scan. No S-meter....and no fake power meter either. Guess what? It works really well on receive. I think it was something like an incredible 0.18uV for 12dB SINAD! Transmit is a little down. It came in at 3W & I managed to coax 3.6W out of it.

Same front panel as Maxon CM10 but a different radio inside.

You have done that board before, you made the same mistake with the other set with the same board, you thought the black IF tin was the Detector and the Deviation preset as well. To be fair, I had no idea what set it was either, but you have done that board. Your memory is as bad as mine!

Never seen this one, I wonder if it was discontinued when they brought the CRT one out?
