It seems like we have to build a good image of the box before we can really learn to think outside of it. I often find it amazing how people don't understand how the purpose of education is to gain the insights of the people who discovered these amazing truths which were at one point outside of the box. It doesn't take any less creativity or ingenuity for you to have that idea for yourself, nobody owns that brilliant insight. There is a reason Newton said he stood on the shoulders of giants. These insights you are given for free came at the expense of some of the brightest minds who ever lived spending years, sometimes decades, of their lives trying to invent answers to questions you may have never considered. Think, we get upset we can't learn something in 3 hours when it took 30 years and multiple disciplines to come up with the idea in the first place.

Hello, i wonder if thinking outside the box has been part of human nature or it could be developed through experience. I have friends that are so good at it. I felt left behind when situations like this happens. I wanted to develop it but I don't know where to start.
