Amazon Fires Threaten a Crushing Loss of Biodiversity

Deforestation has already killed 20% of the Amazon rainforest, and the fires could spell catastrophe for the environment and indigenous tribes: "We're losing species we don't even know exist," said a representative from Greenpeace Brasil.
