I absolutely love how Shinichi just walks into view at the very end like that. In a show that can be very gruesome and violent, especially with that heavy af intro, this song is a refreshing relief that shows the humanity that’s still leftover. The ending shot of him just walking to the door reminds us despite having a symbiotic right hand and superhuman abilities, he was just a normal kid and that’s who he still strives to be to some extent. It’s a moment that makes you unwind after all this turmoil and say “Ahhh this is nice”. Honestly with a show that’s this aggressive, a love song like this is such a nice touch that balances out the mood

The tragedy of this manga and ed is that behind each door, each house is a life of a person that is left untold.

This anime left such a big pain and hole in my heart, as hole as big as Shinichi Izumi had after Migi saved his life. I never expected 1 second that this anime would grow on me so much and that I would end up loving it so much and with such a depression after it ended. It will forever be in my heart. I love how gore type anime has the calmest ending theme despite the whole anime having a full sadistic scene. Having this type of ending theme is like the anime telling us that, everything is fine and there's nothing to worry about. And making me feel safe ngl
