This is a technical analysis of the US stock market for 2020
I analyse the broad market and give potential scenarios for the future of the stock market.I take a look at the fundamentals in the economy like monetary policies, interest rates etc, I compare this economic environment to other similar periods in history to try and draw conclusions for potential scenarios in the future. I use long term charts and the market cycle theory template to illustrate potential outcomes. This video takes a look at important patterns appearing on the sp500. I also take a look at specific levels to break or to bounce off of for profits.
I look at the stock market bubble, federal reserve balance sheet and compare this to the Great depression stock market crash.

2 months of reversal talking and the market just keeps going up, what a waste of time.

-Tomorrow the S&P will collapse. X
-Next week the S&P will sink. X
-Next month S&P will go down. X
-Next year the market will move. V

That's the difference between the market and social media. Only here you can just change your predictions to be always right.

2:10 You never have to "pick a team". what you NEED to do is be flexible and not argue with the market. In order to make sound decisions you need to have the ability to change your mind and not get caught up in your own ideas.

I think I have learned two important things from your video --

1. History should not be used to predict for the future. That's what you did and it has been proved to be wrong
2. TA is like a coin flip tool. You always have 50% to be right but you also have 50% to be wrong. So I won't take TA serious any more.

I believe rally is 10% FED and 90% bulls believing in FED. I'm glad to be on right side!

I am so happy I don’t short. Bought at the lowest dip and have been selling the tops and buying the dip since then. That has been so lucrative.

I never thought that the stock market going down with everyone out of work would ever sound like a contrarian position

2 big examples are Japan (peaked in 1999) and the EU (peaked ~2000). Neither has ever recovered after the final bubbles popped. The US now appears to be following these 2 examples down the ZIRP/NIRP, high debt, low growth rathole they went down.

You are really resilient. My prediction : end of the year we'll have 70M unemployed and S&P 500 at 4500.

The macroeconomic background at the peak of nikkei was different. The BOJ was aggressively raising interest rates and didn't lower it much when the market crashed. Due to contractionary monetary policy, the market continued to fall for years.

It is not the intent of the Fed to keep the equity markets at high levels. It's a side effect of too much liquidity. It is the market participants that are driving the markets higher. I agree that its not healthy.

With all due respect here, you have a biased to the bearish side and you know if you have been trading long enough you can NOT do that, you just have to read and listen to what the market is telling
you here!
I am NOT either bullish neither bearish, but if you can interpret the price action of this market is that you will notice a disconnect between what is happening now and what the market is doing.
The market obviously along with all indexes are pushing higher especially certain industries that are leading such as technology and healthcare and

Great video. I’m Japanese so I know how it was tough for a long-time recession in Japan. Everybody who has been investing in Japanese stock market did not make money.
