Watching you make coquito with the sound of roosters in the background was everything! Great video.

I've just followed this recipe and made the most wonderful delicious Coquito. The only adjustment I made was that I added Don Q Reserva 7 instead of Pitorro ( which is unavailable in the UK ). Your father has the best recipe in the world. Please thank him for me.

I knew this recipe was legit when your dad was telling you in Spanish what to add. Also the rooster in the background. Also thank you for not calling it “puerto Rican eggnog.” I miss my abuelita....

Just purchased two bottles from my coworker on Friday. First one was the original and the second was cookies and cream. Both were delicious. Came across this video and I will make this the week of Christmas. Thank you for sharing.❤❤.

For those that don’t know I believe Pitorro is basically the Puertorrican version of Moonshine

Here is a typed out ingredients list for you guys :) I'm making this recipe for my family this year. First time trying to live up to my Abuela who used to make it!
2 cans evap milk
1 can cream of coconut
1 can condensed milk
1/2 cup of white or brown sugar your choice
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract (looked more like a full teaspoon to me
Pinch of salt
2 cans coconut milk
1/2 teaspoon powdered cinnamon
1/2 liter of bacardi rum (he used pitorro instead) that's 2/3 of the 750 ml bottle

Looks good.
I have always followed my mother Esther recipe and we never added salt or extra sugar. The sweetness from the condense milk makes it sweet enough. Ty and enjoy

I trust this recipe as your dad was guiding you and those wise ones know their thing 😀

Tell your Dad I'm sending love from Florida! That is the best!
I drove a distance to get Pitorro, but made a difference. I used the same measurements- a little bit, and more!

I wish I would have done this when my grandfather was alive. He made great coquito and none of us remember the recipe 🥺 cooking with my grandma too. It’s been so long without them. Can’t wait to try your recipe.
