I really appreciate these more “beginner quilter” videos sprinkled in with your more advanced videos, Donna! They are so helpful to be reminded of the “whys and hows” of basic quilting.

Another video I’d like to see from you (because you are such a terrific instructor in explaining the basics) is how to use some of the various rulers that are out in the market. As silly as this sounds, I look at even some of the basic rulers and wonder “well, how would that ruler be placed on the fabric to get the cut you want?” I know it probably sounds elementary to some advanced quilters, but I’ve never had that explained to me at a basic, beginner level. I look at some of the rulers, and all of the markings on them make my head swim and I wonder how one even makes sense of them all! How does one lay it on the fabric, etc.?
