It's good to learn all kinds of English phrases. It's good to learn nice English phrases so that you can use them to say nice things. It's good to learn mean English phrases so that you can recognize and understand them when you read them or hear them. You should, however, never say these phrases. I'm sure you're just too nice of a person to do that.

In this English lesson we'll look at phrases like: You'll never amount to anything! You suck! You're just like your father!

We'll also look at mean questions like: Why can't you be more like your brother? or Why can't you be more like your cousin?

All in all, these are great phrases to learn but not great phrases to use. I'm happy to help you learn them anyways!

I hope you enjoyed this English lesson about phrases you should never use!

⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

I haven't run into these mean phrases in movies or TV shows so far. I might've used the phrase"Move over, let me do it." when my kids have trouble doing something. I didn't mean to insult them. I just wanted to help them😱 From now, I'll say "Let's do it together!" "Do you want me to help you?" something like that😀
Cool lesson, You rock.😁

Hey, Mr. Bob! I know that you get mean comments on YT from time to time. It’s rare, but it does happen. I just wanna let you know that you’ve never disappointed me, as my teacher and as a person in general. I have nothing but full confidence in you. I’m so proud of you and of the fact that I can be your student. Sorry if I ever disappointed you with my broken English, or by not being so dedicated. But you know what?! The cool thing about being a member is that I can still support and thank you even when I’m not around watching your content. Thanks for being yourself. Please, continue to be just like Bob the Canadian!🌻🌻

Great lesson Bob!!! I might add that if someone ever is told one of these phrases, it's important for her or him to use it as a way to prove that person wrong by doing it better the next time
